I am just a girl, married to the love of my life, raising our very active and adorable 2 year old boy. My husband is a fly boy and so we move around quite a bit with the Air Force. We were blessed to be able to set up camp here in Washington for a few years and we couldn't be happier in this beautiful state. Before becoming a full time mommy, I taught first grade for several years and absolutely loved it! Now I stay busy chasing, feeding, reading to, cleaning up after, and playing with my baby, and I wouldn't trade it for anything (well, most days at least)! One of my favorite things to do besides hanging out with my wonderful hubby and baby, is to run! Running is my "high" in life! When the weather is nice, I jump on the beautiful Chehalis trail behind our house and just go. My other "high" in life is taking pictures. I have always had a love for photography, but it wasn't until I had my baby that it truly became my passion. When I look at my son's baby pictures I am amazed at how quickly time has passed. And with that passing of time it becomes so easy to forget those priceless little moments that we've shared. It is those pictures of his infancy, those little moments caught on camera, that help bring back my most precious memories. My family is the center of my world and I want to take in and savor as many of our moments together as possible. My goal as your photographer is to catch those "little moments" of you and your family for you to have and cherish forever. Whether you are celebrating the birth of your new precious miracle, playing with your children on the beach, documenting your teenager's Senior year of high school, or marrying the love of your life, I want to be there to capture those moments for you. What to Wear

Here are some suggestions to help you achieve the best pictures possible.

· Wear clothing with solid colors. Loud patterns tend to draw attention away from the face.

· For family photos, keep clothing simple and in the same tonal range to provide a better sense of unity. Dark denim on the bottom, or similar colors (i.e. khaki) always helps unify your outfits.

· Wear long sleeves for close-up portraits. Bare arms tend to distract from the face.

· Stripes, checks, and plaids usually don’t photograph well.

· Layers look great in photos. So, if you want to throw in a scarf on top of your shirt, or a vest or jacket to spruce up an outfit that would be great!

· Textures stand out in pictures very nicely. So if your shirt has some added dimension with ruffles or buttons that always looks great in a photo.

· Light colors similar to your skin tone tend to overpower the face and make you look paler than usual. Bold, rich colors against the skin photograph the best!

· Black and other dark tones can have a slimming effect.

· Make sure whatever you wear reflects who YOU are and your personality.
